Cortni is the founder of The Flipping Nomad. She has been a full time RVer for seven years. Six years ago she was on the hunt for an new RV that had a bright and modern interior. After months of searching, she came to the realization that what she wanted did not exist. She took matters into her own hands and renovated an RV to her taste. That got her thinking that maybe other people don’t like the traditional interiors and there might be a business opportunity there. She was right! The business gained immediate momentum. But early on Cortni recognized a problem with her potential buyers. Everybody focused on the beautiful interior design but nobody looked at the bones of the RV. The RV could have been full of water damage and have other hidden issues, but the buyers were too wrapped up in how cute it was to know to look for these warning signs. Working with RVs that had good bones and that were build right was not only a good business practice, but now it was a moral responsibility. After a lot of research, all roads lead to the Keystone Montana fifth wheel. As a result of that, she made the Montana fifth wheel the RV of choice for The Flipping Nomad. After working with many Montanas, Keystone took notice of what she was doing. In March of 2019, Keystone approached Cortni and The Flipping Nomad team to build the industry’s first concept RV. The Ultimate Montana debuted in December of 2019 and it is one of the most insane fifth wheels on the road. Some features include a free standing clawfoot bathtub, custom kegerator, ultrasonic water vapor fireplace and pizza oven.
